RECIPE FEATURES:
Healthy vegan recipe – oil-free + cholesterol-free
Packed with plant-based protein + fibre – made with nutritional yeast and sweet potato
Easy to make – it takes less than 15 minutes to create this thick + creamy sauce

INGREDIENTS IN THIS RECIPE:
Sweet potatoes are full of fiber, vitamins, and antioxidants which makes them a brilliant source of energy to start your day with.
Nutritional yeast is a powerhouse full of health benefits. If you haven’t tried it yet, you are missing out. It contains all 18 amino acids, full of b12 and has 3 grams of protein per tbsp. Not to mention how versatile it is, you can add it into so many recipes to create a lovely cheesy/nutty flavour. Still not sure? Check out this healthy vegan cheese sauce made with nutritional yeast!
Kala Namak, also known as black salt, is the ingredient that gives this recipe it’s “eggy” flavour. Although I don’t normally use salt in my recipes, a tiny bit of black salt in this recipe wont hurt.

Once you’ve tried this mouth-watering eggy sauce, you’ll be making it every single week. Vegan breakfasts just got a whole lot more exciting! You’ll be amazed at how similar this sauce tastes to an egg yolk – it’s crazy.
There are a few vegan dippy egg yolk sauces on the internet at the moment, but what I found was that a lot of them were made with a lot of oil. So I wanted to create a more healthy and filling recipe but keep it super simple to make with an amazing eggy flavour.
The brilliant thing about this recipe is that it can be used as a dippy eggs sauce for an alternative to eggs and soldiers or it can be used as a eggy dressing on top of salads or in breakfast bagels. Basically, this egg sauce is perfect for any meal you’d normally add an egg to.
